Upgrading VTrain is an easy, three-step process:
- -
1. Download the latest version of VTrain from our Download page and install it.
2. Get a Registration Key for the latest version (see below).
3. Use the Registration Key on your copy of VTrain


How much does an Upgrade cost?

All Upgrades to the current version of VTrain are free. However, we may charge an administrative fee if you want to be sent the same Registration Key a second time. Please backup your Registration Key!


How do I get my Registration Key?

If you have a Registration Key for VTrain 5.0 or 5.1, it will also work on VTrain 5.2.

If you registered a previous version of VTrain, your Upgrade (i.e. your new Registration Key) has probably been sent to you automatically. If you have not received your Upgrade yet, you can make an

How do I get a Registration Key for an older version?

VTrain 5.2 supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista and later, while VTrain 4.5 runs on Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.

When a Registration Key is sent to the user, it becomes the latter's responsibility to keep their Registration Key safe, by making a backup or printing it out.

My email address has changed

If you wish to update your email address in our user database, we need a proof of identity in order to protect your privacy. In such a case, you have several options:

A. Send us a message from your old email account, and mention your new email address.
B. Send us an email containing your old email address, your new one, and the Private use Key you received from us (usually in an e-mail message with the words "VTrain License" in the subject line).
C. If you can access neither your old email account nor your Private use Key, we can send you a new Key to the street address you specified when you registered. In this case, we reserve the right to charge a shipping & handling fee. Please contact us for details.
D. If you have no more access to your old email account, you lost your Private use Key, and you moved house, you still can register again by purchasing a new Key.
